Gives a light, natural-looking glow to your cheeks
Mineral Blush in Peach Glow
Mineral blush is one of the staples in any makeup bag. I chose this juicy peach colour in Peach Glow, for a healthy-looking blush that wouldn’t add too much colour. After a long period without any sunshine on my face (during the winter of 2020), I wanted a light glow for my unusually pale complexion.
What is in the mineral blusher?
Natural mica glitters on the cheek with a thousand particles, giving a dimensional make-up effect. However, don’t be misled – this isn’t a product that leaves your face covered in glitter. It is more like a subtle sheen and goes on smoothly, giving skin a youthful glow.
The loose powder combines the strength of minerals with natural oils, including sunflower seed oil and blackcurrant seed oil with vitamin E. I also found that it lasted quite well too, even without foundation.
How to use the mineral blusher
The product is loose and easy to apply but fortunately doesn’t spill everywhere! It comes with a handy, sturdy brush too. I just tip the tub upside down and a little is left on the inner lid. Swirl the brush in the loose powder, tap against the inside to remove any excess and then sweep over cheeks. Apply another light layer to build up colour and intensity, as you wish. You can also use it on your eyes too.
This shade is recommended for medium to darker skin and I also think that it will look fab on sunkissed skin. I am pleased that I have a blush that I can wear throughout the year, no matter my skin tone.
